About Me
I am a senior at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, majoring in behavioral sciences with concentrations in psychology and sociology and a minor in philosophy. I expect to graduate in May 2025. I have over five years of experience as a resident advisor and writing consultant in higher education. I am certified in Social-Behavioral-Educational Research (CTI) until July 27, 2025, and was Housing Staff Member of the Year in 2019. I regularly consult clients on brainstorming, planning, drafting, and editing documents for academic, professional, technical, and creative fields. I am proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, Teams, Zoom, Canva, and SPSS.
Core Values & Philosophy
Since childhood, I have had two passions: learning to understand others and telling stories. I felt disconnected from my peers and sought to understand them through my favorite authors’ tales and my own. In high school, I developed better social skills, discovered my passion for psychology, and furthered my love for writing.
Creating and helping others do the same allows me to experience the best of both worlds today. My goal in studying human behavior has been to help others become more confident and adjusted. This goal evolved into helping new, casual, or professional writers to feel more competent and adapt to their writing demands. I intend to assist writers while engaging in my other passion, storytelling, and fulfill both dreams simultaneously.
I value integrity and compassionate communication, highlighting honesty, accuracy, curiosity, and open-mindedness. These values are crucial for me to embody to navigate feedback and revisions effectively and ensure that each collaboration is respectful and productive. I strive to create a supportive and professional environment for my clients by thinking critically and leading empathetically.
